GAMMA GROUP TRAINING
Our Gamma Group meets twice each month, on the 1st and 3rd Sundays, to go a little deeper into prayer and training for those who are truly “intentional disciples” of the Lord. We began with the Discernment of Spirits, the classic work from St. Ignatius of Loyola that gives us rules to determine which voice is trying to lead us: the voice of the “Good Spirit” (the Holy Spirit, God) or the voice of the “enemy” (the dark spirit, Satan). Ignatius teaches us to observe interior spiritual movements, to really know ourselves and to make a decision to accept or reject those movements. The discussions have been fantastic and the dedicated group is very engaged! Thank you so, so much to all who have been attending!
Once we have completed the Ignatian rules for discerning spirits, we will begin a training of the UNBOUND method of prayer; helping folks to repent, forgive, and renounce sin with the authority of Jesus through the love of the Father. We will announce a start date soon!
