Prepare Your Heart for the Coming of Christ
As we enter the holy season of Advent, the Church invites us to prepare our hearts for the coming of our Savior—both at Christmas and at the end of time. One of the most meaningful ways to do this is through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, where we encounter God’s mercy, healing, and peace.
To help everyone find time for confession during this busy season, we are offering multiple opportunities for our parish Penance Services.
Advent Penance Service Dates
Please join us on one of the following days:
-
Thursday, December 11 – 7:00 PM
-
Saturday, December 13 – 10:00 AM
-

-
Wednesday, December 17 – 7:00 PM

Whether it has been months, years, or just a short while since your last confession, this is a beautiful chance to receive God’s grace and experience a renewed sense of spiritual clarity and peace.
Why Confession During Advent?
Advent is a season of anticipation—of preparing room in our hearts for Christ. Through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, we:
-
Reflect on our lives in the light of God’s love
-
Let go of the sins and burdens that weigh us down
-
Renew our relationship with God
-
Enter Christmas with hearts made ready for joy
The Lord is always waiting with mercy—this season invites us to come to Him.
All Are Welcome
Whether you attend regularly or have been away for some time, we warmly encourage you to come. Our priests—and visiting confessors—will be available to guide you through the sacrament if needed.
We look forward to praying and preparing with you this Advent.
