ALPHA 2 EVALUATION
We ran our second ALPHA during six Fridays of Lent. Total attendance was 93 (which was the average of our first Alpha!). Average attendance for the evening sessions was about 55, with a peak of 70 one night. Financially, Alpha did not pull any dollars from our Parish operating expenses—thank you to everyone who made donations for the Soup’n’Salad!
71% of attendees ranked Alpha as LIFE CHANGING! That was substantially more than the first Alpha. 29% of evaluators recognized a major shift in their spiritual journey from “lukewarm” to discipleship. The top ranking things the participants liked most (in order) were making new friends; strengthened faith; the welcoming atmosphere; the talks & videos; and experienced love.
Almost ALL of those who attended became aware of Alpha through a friend’s invitation or the announcements at Mass.
