On the Ascension of the Lord, Fr. Miguel shares a powerful message with us. Jesus, body and soul, ascends into heaven. He takes our humanity into heaven with him! Through Christ, we are given this blessing, a connection to our God in heaven; access to him in a way that was never possible before Christ.
Therefore, let our prayer reflect this beauty. Let us pray, not simply to ask God for miracles and favors, but to weave into our intercessions our gift of love. Let us pray so that we may share our hearts with our God, because we know he is good.
