Prayer Before Receiving the Anointing
Lord Jesus, divine Physician,
I place my weakness and suffering in Your hands.
Grant me patience, trust, and peace.
Through this holy anointing, may Your grace strengthen me
in body, mind, and spirit. Amen.

Prayer of Thanksgiving After Anointing
Good and gracious God,
thank You for the comfort of Your sacraments.
Sustain me with hope, unite my suffering to Christ’s Passion,
and fill me with the peace that comes from Your presence.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for Healing and Trust in God’s Will
Lord, if it is Your will, grant me healing of mind and body.
If my suffering must continue,
help me to bear it in union with You,
offering all for Your glory and for the salvation of souls.
Amen.
