This session explores the additional Greek chapter (Chapter 13 / Addition B)
In Esther – Episode 4, we continue our journey through the Book of Esther by exploring key passages that reveal God’s providence at work in moments of great risk and courage. This session examines the additional Greek material found in Chapter 13 (also known as Addition B), which contains the king’s letter, as well as Esther 3:14–4:17.
Particular attention is given to one of the most powerful moments in Scripture, as Mordecai challenges Esther to step forward on behalf of her people, reminding her that she may have come to royal dignity “for such a time as this.” Together, we reflect on vocation, courage, and trusting God’s plan even when the outcome is uncertain.
