In this episode of our Genesis Bible Study, we continue from Genesis Chapter 5 through 6:11, examining humanity’s growing need for salvation. The session reflects on humility and returns to the figure of Enoch, whose faithful walk with God offers a striking contrast to a world increasingly marked by sin. We are introduced to Noah, a righteous man who finds favor with the Lord and becomes a sign of hope amid corruption. The episode also addresses the challenging passage concerning the “sons of God” and the “daughters of men,” the identity of the Nephilim, and the use of anthropomorphic language to describe God’s response to human wickedness. We conclude with the introduction to the Flood narrative, setting the stage for God’s judgment, mercy, and plan to renew creation.
