In this episode of our Genesis Bible Study, we explore Genesis 3:18–4:4 and the unfolding consequences of sin alongside the first signs of God’s mercy. The session reflects on the continued effects of the curses and introduces God as the Father of forgiveness, who responds to human failure with compassion and care. We consider how the suffering introduced by the Fall foreshadows the suffering of Christ, pointing forward to redemption. The episode then turns to humanity’s banishment from Eden and the emergence of the first family, culminating in the story of Cain and Abel, where worship, sacrifice, and the struggle between sin and righteousness come sharply into focus.
