1Corinthians – Chapter 7:12-9:27, Episode 7

In this episode of our 1 Corinthians Bible Study, we continue through Chapter 7 as St. Paul gives detailed answers regarding marriage, vocation, and living faithfully according to one’s calling. We then move into Chapters 8 and 9 where Paul addresses the difficult issue of food sacrificed to pagan idols, Christian freedom, avoiding scandal, and sacrificing personal rights for the good of others.

Paul once again defends his ministry and reveals the heart of a true disciple — one who is willing to deny himself for the sake of Christ and for the salvation of souls. Above all, we hear Paul’s deep conviction that he is compelled to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ no matter the cost.
