Chapter 10 finishes up the long main theme of the Old Covenant priesthood and sacrifices making way for the New. We look at the HEART of the New Covenant through the eyes of the Sacred Heart and Divine Mercy; a deeper, intimate union with God never before witnessed in the Old. Also, we go off on a tangent about the common priesthood of the faithful: we are ALL called to be priests in a certain order, and all have access to the NEW Holy of Holies. What does OUR priesthood, as laity, look like? How do WE make sacrifices? Chapter 10 sets the stage for the great FAITH CHAPTER of 11.
