Jesus continues His miracles, reveals the structure of Matthew’s Gospel, and commissions the Twelve Apostles for their mission.
In Episode 25 of our study of the Gospel of Matthew, we examine Matthew 9:27-10:8 as Jesus continues His ministry of healing and prepares to send out His Apostles. We begin with the healing of two blind men and a man possessed by a demon, witnessing once again Christ’s compassion and divine authority. The study also explores the remarkable literary structure of Matthew’s Gospel and how the evangelist carefully organizes the life and teachings of Jesus. Finally, we arrive at a pivotal moment as Jesus calls and names the Twelve Apostles, commissioning them to continue His work of preaching, healing, and proclaiming the Kingdom of God.
