This year, our school community will place a special emphasis on living out our Catholic faith through the themes of Catholic Social Teachings and the three theological virtues: Faith, Hope, and Charity. Throughout the year, students will learn what these teachings mean and, more importantly, how to put them into action in their daily lives. Together, we will focus on serving others with compassionate hearts, recognizing the dignity of every person, caring for God’s creation, and answering Christ’s call to love our neighbors. Through classroom lessons, prayer, service projects, and everyday acts of kindness, we hope to help our students grow as disciples who lead with faith, persevere with hope, and love with charity.
We are excited to see how God works through our students as they put their faith into action and live out our school bible verse of the year: “Dear children, let us love not with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” 1 John 3:18.
Our students are putting their faith into action by serving others and caring for our community. Through meaningful partnerships with Grow Jackson, the Christ Child Society, and other service opportunities such as our Pajama Drive, students are learning that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
Enrollment for Preschool through 6th grade is still available. We invite families to explore Catholic education and learn more about joining our school community. To learn more or to schedule a tour, please contact Tara Brady, SJS Principal at tarabrady@myjacs.org.
