On this Divine Mercy Sunday, we remember the life and legacy of Pope Francis. As his chosen papal name reveals to us, as did his life here on earth, Pope Francis was a servant of God in the most giving and humble way. Let us remember how deep God’s mercy is for us all! Each and every one of us, though sinners we may be, is a vessel for Christ and his mercy, always.
May Pope Francis’ soul, and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
“He gave of himself to others to the very last day that he would spend on this earth.”
