Sunday night our youth group made baby blankets for the local pregnancy center. These blankets will be given to women who CHOOSE LIFE for their unborn babies. The teens did a great job at promoting the sanctity of life!
As the teens displayed, being pro-life doesn’t just mean standing against abortion. It means standing with people throughout all stages of life and those struggling to see the dignity of life of the others around them. We need to to show our brothers and sisters in Christ how valuable they are and that they have a dignity not given to any other creature as Matthew 6:26 states; “Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?” In that verse it is also revealed that God will always protect us and provide for us no matter what crisis situation we find ourselves in, as long we trust Him.
As the 43rd anniversary of Roe vs. Wade approaches do not feel discouraged! Even though this court decision tries to rip away the human dignity of the unborn, remember dignity is not given from man but our Creator alone. And our God has plans for our welfare, not for woe! Plans to give us a future of hope (Jeremiah 29:11). He will deliver us from the injustice and attacks on life, we must just hold tight to Him and keep fighting for LIFE with LOVE!
