Jesus explains the Parable of the Sower and reveals how God’s Kingdom grows amid both faithfulness and opposition.

In Episode 31 of our study of the Gospel of Matthew, we examine Matthew 13:18-33 as Jesus explains the meaning of the Parable of the Sower and continues His Kingdom Parables. We explore the four types of soil and what they reveal about the different ways people receive God’s Word. Jesus then teaches through the parables of the weeds among the wheat, the mustard seed, and the leaven. Together, these parables reveal the surprising growth of God’s Kingdom, the coexistence of good and evil in the present age, and the patient work of God bringing about His plan of salvation.
