We thanked and celebrated our most dedicated volunteers here at the parish with an enjoyable evening of food for the soul and body!

At the 5:30 p.m. Mass, Fr. Chas noted that they were also celebrating the 161st anniversary of the laying of the cornerstone of St. John Church and reminded the volunteers that, as members of Christ’s body, they were the “living stones” that make up the Temple of God, which has Jesus as the cornerstone.

The evening continued with dinner catered by Grady’s, Larry Brown tending bar, Julie Pienkos and Fr. Brian providing some musical entertainment, Fr. Chas emceeing, Pastoral Council President John Dullock updating folks on our Parish Representatives efforts, and the whole staff serving in some way. A special thanks to our parish secretary, Leslee Hartford, who coordinated the preparations for the evening!
