The Book of Matthew – Chapter 21:33-22:14, Episode 43

In Episode 43 of our study of the Gospel of Matthew, we examine Matthew 21:33-22:14 as Jesus continues confronting the religious leaders during His final days in Jerusalem. Through the Parable of the Wicked Tenants and the Parable of the Wedding Banquet, Jesus clearly reveals that those entrusted with God’s covenant have failed in their responsibilities and warns of the consequences of rejecting God’s Son. We take a particularly deep look at the Wedding Banquet, uncovering its rich symbolism and what it teaches about God’s invitation to salvation, the inclusion of the nations, and the necessity of responding with faith and a transformed life. These parables offer profound insight into the Kingdom of Heaven and God’s plan of redemption.
