Jesus’ Olivet Discourse reveals the coming destruction of the Temple, the end of the age, and the call to remain faithful and watchful.

In Episode 46 of our study of the Gospel of Matthew, we explore Matthew Chapter 24, often called the Olivet Discourse or the Mini-Apocalypse. As Jesus sits on the Mount of Olives overlooking Jerusalem, He delivers one of the most profound and challenging prophetic teachings in all of Scripture. We examine His predictions concerning the destruction of the Temple, the signs that will precede these events, and His teaching about the coming of the Son of Man. Along the way, we discuss how this chapter weaves together both the fall of Jerusalem and the end of the age, helping us understand why Jesus’ words are both immediately relevant to His first-century audience and deeply meaningful for Christians today.
