the Epistles of Jude, James, and Peter – 1 Peter 5, Episode 13

At the end of Chapter 3 through most of Chapter 4, Peter gets us a wee bit confusing when talking about Jesus preaching to the dead people of the time of Noah in a spiritual prison, and baptism which saves us is kind of like Noah’s ark. What?! Great fun with these verses. Then in Chapter 4 St. Peter continues the theme of suffering… somehow suffering helps to make us holy….
