The Epistles– Jude, part 1. We cover verses 1-16. Jude / Judas, a cousin to Jesus, brother of James, writes this emergency letter warning the Church of the imposters who have infiltrated the Church. This letter has much in common with John’s epistles: warning against the deceivers and liars. Jude draws from Jewish writings that we do not have in the Bible, and sometimes his comments are a little obscure.
