Today we celebrate the Second Sunday in Ordinary Time. We heard the readings from Isaiah 62:1-5 and 1 Corinthians 12:4-11. The Gospel was proclaimed from John 2:1-11.
Today, each of our three Deacons preached a different homily.
Deacon Al gave his homily at St. Joseph Oratory, he spoke about the anniversary of Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision.
Deacon Dave gave his homily at St. John Church, he spoke about the significance of the first sign of Jesus.
Deacon Mike gave his homily at St. John Church, he spoke about the sign at Cana, and its foreshadowing of the gift of His Precious Blood in the Eucharist.
