From St. John Elementary School Principal, Kristi Blair…
This year, due to Covid19, May looks very different at St. John School. The building is empty and eerily quiet. BUT, due to the incredible efforts of our school and parish staffs and our parents, the spirit of SJS is alive and well! The students are learning about Mary, and praying the rosary. They are writing poems and making cards for their moms and grandmas. Our second graders are still excited for their First Communion — whenever that may be. Recently, they had a virtual retreat experience put together by our faith formation team, and they are “meeting” weekly with Mrs. Fitzpatrick and Miss Clare. We are grateful for these blessings and for these people! Click HERE to read more regarding the Month of Mary, and the Virtual Race for Education.
