It is with very mixed feelings that I announce that Marvic Welch has submitted her resignation as finance manager this week. She is leaving us in very good standing, and with our certainty that we will have a challenge in filling her shoes. If you know someone who might be that person, please let us know.
When we spoke on Monday, she said that in reading Matthew Kelly, she felt she wasn’t being the best version of herself. Working an hour away from home is starting to get old. She has two sons who will most likely leave the nest in the next year who need her. All in all, we think she has made a prayerful decision and we add our prayers that it makes her life better.
She has agreed to stay until we fill the position and to help interview her replacement, which speaks to our mutual respect and caring. We pray that her decision fills her with happiness.
