Let’s go into the desert these 40 days to confront 3 typical temptations:

  1. “I don’t need God” (Self-reliance: I can procure everything I need for myself.)
  2. “I can use God” (Candy dispenser mentality of God.)
  3. “I reject God” (Evil is called good and good is called evil.)

Consider: In what ways am I tempted to live like someone else than I claim to be as a Christian?

Let’s do battle to starve these things to death!
