The Confirmation students above met last week for their final meeting before receiving the sacrament and together we prayed a decade of the Rosary, dedicating each Hail Mary to asking for the Gifts of the Holy Spirit & the Theological Virtues. Please pray this decade for them today that these Gifts may be poured out on them abundantly:

- Wisdom…We pray for an outpouring of Wisdom, the knowledge and judgment about “divine things” – give us the ability to judge and direct our actions according to the Truth of God …Hail, Mary…
- Understanding…Holy Spirit, spouse of the Blessed Virgin, by the gift of Understanding, sharpen and deepen our vision of supernatural truths, to see God for the good of our salvation… Hail, Mary…
- Counsel…By grace of the gift of Counsel, open our hearts and wills to be directed by God, especially concerning all that is necessary for our own salvation…Hail, Mary…
- Fortitude…Holy Spirit, through the gift of Fortitude, strengthen in each of us a determination to do good and avoid evil,even when difficult or dangerous; grow our confidence in the promise of eternal life- with your help, any obstacle to holiness can be overcome…Hail, Mary…
- Knowledge…Grant us the Knowledge to judge correctly about matters of faith and right action, so we never get sidetracked from truth and justice…Hail, Mary…
- Piety…Holy Spirit, fill us with Your gift of Piety-may we always give God the reverence that is due to Him and in turn to all persons because they are made in His image and likeness…Hail, Mary…
- Fear of the Lord…Increase in us a Fear ever being separated from God, rather than fearing God, Himself; Give us a true sense of wonder and awe for the power, glory, majesty as well as the love and mercy of God…Hail, Mary…
- Charity…Overflowing with the gifts of the Holy Spirit, Peter preached to the crowd in Jerusalem. In love and Charity, he confronted them with the truth and 3000 people were baptized! Help us to act with the same charity as Peter and boldly proclaim the truth of Christ’s love and mercy…Hail, Mary…
