Fr. Chas delivered this homily on November 23, 2014 at St. John Church in celebration of the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe. This week we heard readings from Ezekiel 34:11-12,15-17, 1 Corinthians 15:20-26,28, and our Gospel reading from Matthew 25:31-46.
On the last Sunday of the liturgical year, we celebrate Jesus Christ as our King, King of the Universe.
Are we letting Christ be the King of our own lives? Or have put someone else on that throne?
