Today we celebrated The Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe. We heard the readings from 2 Samuel 5:1-3 and Colossians 1:12-20. The Gospel was proclaimed from Luke 23:35-43.
Act of Enthronement Prayer in Fr. Chas’ Homily:
Lord Jesus, I crown you as the King of my life,
the King of all that I am and do.
I crown you King over my family and relationships.
I crown you King over my daily labors.
I crown you King over my greatest worries and fears.
I crown you King over any addictions or vice.
I crown you King over all my material blessings.
I crown you King over my eternal destiny. Amen.
